幕末から明治にかけて繁栄したたばこ製造業者の旧居宅を活用した資料館。うだつを構える贅を尽くした建物や中庭から当時の繁栄振りが伺える。
本町周辺には今も当時の面影がある古い町並みが残り、うだつや意匠の凝った町屋や風味豊かな地酒が造られる古い酒蔵がある池田の町並み。

A museum that utilizes the former residence of a tobacco manufacturer that prospered from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era. The prosperity of the time can be seen from the luxurious buildings and courtyards that hold the udatsu.
Around Honmachi, the old townscape that still has the remnants of those days remains, and the townscape of Ikeda, where there are old sake breweries where udatsu and elaborately designed townhouses and flavorful local sake are made.
